REVIEWS
"All academic libraries (and probably many public libraries) will find this a handy volume that receives a good amount of use." —G. Stein, CHOICE

DESCRIPTION
Here is the long-awaited continuation of the basic reference volume Parapsychology: Sources of Information (Scarecrow, 1973). More than double the size of the previous edition, the new volume updates older material that is still relevant and adds hundreds of new information sources, most of them annotated. New Sources also goes further than Sources in that, in addition to covering books, serials, and organizations, it contains a chapter describing sources of parapsychology information in general library materials, a chapter documenting U.S. government involvement in parapsychology, and a review of changes in the field since Sources was written. The list of dissertations and theses on parapsychology is nearly seven times larger, and the glossary has been greatly expanded. The current scientific status of parapsychology is dealt with in an appendix by leading psi researcher John Palmer, Ph.D. The indexing is lengthy and detailed and covers authors, titles, and subjects.
